[WEBINAR] Assessing the First 100 Days and Beyond: What the Congress, the Courts, and the Executive Are Doing That Will Affect STEM Associations

CESSE May 2025 Webinar

With the new administration crossing the 100-day mark, much has changed in Washington.

Ron Jacobs will provide an update for CESSE members on the president’s agenda, congressional reaction to those efforts, and what the courts are doing. He will discuss the stack of executive orders that have been signed that affect DEI programs, government grants and contracts, education, and more.

He will discuss where the courts have taken action to stop those efforts and where they have approved. Next, he will talk about the budget reconciliation process and what Congress is focused on. Ron will also talk about some other important decisions by the Supreme Court related to the administrative process that could affect how associations and their members deal with the regulatory process.

Finally, Ron will cover some suggestions for navigating the new environment in Washington and what associations should be doing going forward.
