You will hear perspectives from two dynamic STEM society representatives; Cathy Diana of AIChE and Dr. Chhavi Chauhan of the American Society for Investigative Pathology, who will share lessons learned in their EDI program successes, missteps, and how EDI programs are making a difference in their society.
We’ll also have the highly respected input from EDI consultant, Dr. James H. Pogue of JP Enterprises, providing an outside perspective to help answer some tough questions. Our goal is for you to be invigorated and ready to bring new findings to benefit your organization!

Transformative Leadership through Innovation
How do we continue to meet the needs of those we serve in a post-pandemic world?
Business plans and mission statements tend to tackle past challenges while we’re often left to intuit responses to newer, more complicated ones in current climates. Ace will guide audiences through shifting energy from predicting and reacting to scanning and anti-fragility for the unpredictable future we face. He draws from the pandemic’s long-term lessons about positioning our organizations to flex and respond appropriately in the face of uncertainty to make us stronger. He’ll teach skills that allow you to build anti-fragility into your organization’s strategic planning and cultural mindset, leading employees to constantly scan for risk and explore new growth opportunities.
Drawing from the schools of design thinking, crisis management, and old-fashioned asset-sweating, Ace guides you through practical exercises you, as leaders, can guide your teams through. And how to communicate the strategies you build in a way that engages and motivates your employees to make change happen.
