The relationship between Chief Elected Officers and the Chief Staff Officer is vital to the success and progress of all associations. In any year, issues such as membership, finance, technology, new programs, to mention just a few, must be discussed, voted on and implemented. Although one year seems like a long time, we all know how quickly the weeks pass and how rapidly association decisions must be made.

This Forum is designed to provide guidance to the chief elected officers and the chief staff officer as together they strive to accomplish annual goals and set direction for the association's future. During the course of the Symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to examine priorities and to lay the ground work for the most efficient way of working together. The goal of the program is to give the participants a preliminary road map that will lead the association toward achieving its year-end objectives without taking wrong turns or detours.
