Mark your calendars now for another CESSE annual conference for learning, networking and fun in 2009!

The pre-meeting Institutes will be held on Tuesday, July 21.  The opening reception for all attendees will be Tuesday evening, with Plenary sessions and educational sessions beginning on Wednesday morning and continuing through Thursday afternoon.  The Final Gala/Awards banquet will be Thursday evening.  The meeting will end following a brunch and closing session on Friday morning.

A Personal Invitation From CESSE Vice President and 2009 Program Chair

This year’s theme, “Catch the Universal Spirit; Creative Approaches for Changing Times” is especially relevant as we anticipate the impact of a new administration, an evolving economy and an ever changing marketplace.  

The CESSE annual meeting is a great place to exchange views with other scientific and engineering societies and to interact with colleagues from across the spectrum of size and mission.   Sessions focused on the very issues you deal with every day will be presented by those with special expertise and experiences.  You will have the chance to interact with your peers, consultants, and suppliers –all of whom can help you to put the challenges you face in perspective and spark new insights into dealing with changing times.

CESSE is committed to bringing value to its members through the exciting and informative program presented at its annual meeting.  This year, in addition to program tracks that represent the major program areas of associations, we will offer three institutes to provide in depth, hands on exploration of topics related to leadership, information technology, and international outreach.   A special opportunity to experience “Unexpected Orlando” will be offered for meeting planners, and a “virtual track” exploring K-12 opportunities for societies will weave through the program tracks.
