Microsoft’s SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Server 2007 is a platform that can deliver a broad range of Web 2.0 and other applications. Many organizations have expressed interest in learning what these products have to offer and what is required for a successful implementation. Unfortunately, IT departments rarely have the resources needed to carry out an effective evaluation on their own and the standard training courses are often too taxing on our precious training budgets. 

The IT Institute, taught by a trainer with Susquehanna Technologies, provides participants an opportunity to learn about the capabilities of the SharePoint versions and how to implement several of the basic applications such as wikis, blogs, and content management. Through this interactive session you will gain the knowledge to assess how SharePoint can be used and what resources are needed in order to successfully implement SharePoint.

In addition to the class demonstrations, each participant will receive login credentials to Susquehanna's Sharepoint "sandbox" website that will allow them to perform lab exercises and experiment on their own time for 45 days after the class.
